ARTHRITIS HERB (PENNYWORT)

Arthritis Herb (Pennywort) is a perennial ground cover with kidney-shaped leaves and small flowers appearing during summer. Best grown in pots to contain spread.
- Growing Tip: Plant in rich, moist soil. Drought and frost tender.
- Position: Full sun, Part shade
- Height / Spacing: 15-20cm, prostrate
- Lifespan: Perennial
- Use: Reputed to temporarily ease arthritic conditions when two leaves are eaten each day. Use raw in salads or to flavour curries.
