This year’s 40th annual City2Surf race attracted a record number of entrants including our very own Oasis Springwood nursery manager, Brett Sidebottom.
Brett ran the 14km from Hyde Park to Bondi Beach in a personal best time of 84mins, 57secs; nearly 10 minutes faster than his 2009 result.
Brett not only conquered Heartbreak Hill to raise an outstanding $2000 for the Starlight Foundation, he also managed to hobble into work the following Monday.
