Create a Productive Garden Workshops - Victoria
June 13, 2012
A range of connecting workshops have been created to provide home gardeners with the knowledge and skills they need to grow and harvest their own fruit and vegetables.
Each workshop is held at the Urban Green Living and Learning Hub in Albert Street, Seddon which is a meeting place for people who want learn the basic gardening skills, with the view to growing their own food, decreasing their food miles, improving food security and reducing their impact on climatic change.
The workshops are fun, interactive, allowing each student time to ask their own questions. Each workshop concentrates on the fundamentals of each topic, provides comprehensive take home notes and hands on experience.
All workshops are 3 hours on Saturday mornings except for Create a Kitchen Garden which is 6 hours over two Saturday mornings.
The workshops are run by a former ABC TV Gardening Australia horticultural advisor Sandi Pullman, who has over 21 years of industry experience.
