Allium sativum
Perennial herb usually grown as an annual with long strappy foliage forming an edible bulb.
- Growing Tip: Plant in a well-drained garden bed or pot. Harvest when leaves turn yellow.

- Use: Leave plant to dry out in well-ventilated area before use. Use in meat, fish and pasta dishes. A natural antibiotic reputed used to treat colds and flu.
