It’s a fun and interactive stage show that celebrates the many benefits of growing food and preparing delicious and healthy meals fresh from the garden.

“I’ll be sharing lots of my secrets to growing superb home produce, and showing everyone what types of seedlings they can be planting now for a bumper harvest, and while my hands are in the soil, Julie will be creating some mouthwatering dishes for us to try using the very best seasonal produce,” says Phil.

“What’s more, we’ll have lots of Oasis seedlings as prizes to giveaway to lucky members of the audience, so they can get growing straight away.”

Phil Dudman is a popular gardening talk back host on ABC Radio, as well as TV presenter and author. He is also the co-founder of Landshare Australia, an online network that connects people who want to grow food to space where they can grow it.  Julie Ray is a formally trained chef, food writer, food stylist and presenter at the internationally renowned Sydney Seafood School.

Together they write a regular ‘Harvest’ feature in ABC Organic Gardener magazine and present their garden2kitchen show on ABC Radio and at expos and events across Australia.

“We love spreading our simple message,” says Julie, “GROW your food, KNOW your food, LOVE your food… anyone who has tasted fresh food, straight from the garden knows exactly what we’re talking about.”

You can catch Phil and Julie at the Sydney Royal Easter Show 2012 performing 3 shows daily, from Good Friday 6th April to Easter Monday 9th April in the Flower and Garden Pavilion corner of Grand Parade & Showground Road, Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush.
