Broadbean 'Early crop' is a Mediterranean variety that matures more quickly than other broadbean varieties. The green pods reach I7-20cm long and generally contain 7-I0 beans. Broadbeans best are eaten when young and tender, the seeds of this variety turn purple when dried.
